The Serrax Technologies  Headspace Oxygen Analyzer (MAP 550) is an advanced instrument designed to accurately measure oxygen concentration within a modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) environment. This device is widely used in the food packaging industry to ensure that the packaging maintains the desired levels of oxygen concentration to extend the shelf life of the food products.
The MAP 550 analyzer has a wide measurement range of 0 to 25% oxygen concentration with a high resolution of 0.1%. The response time of this device is T90 < 7 seconds, which means that it can provide highly accurate results in just a few seconds or so. MAP550 has a built-in internal suction pump to draw a sampler from the packaging to measure accurate and fast results.
The sensor works on the principle of electrochemical (EC) sensing technology. This technology is highly sensitive and can accurately measure the oxygen concentration in the headspace of the packaging. The device is easy to use and requires minimal training to operate.
